Well, if you are wondering when Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler’s replacements are going to be announced, it won├óΓé¼Γäót be ANYTIME soon!!

Idol exec. producer Nigel Lythgoe recently said how the “spotlight of the press” isn├óΓé¼Γäót helping the situation and that the show has their work cut out for them!
As far as prospective seat fillers? Nigel stated:
“I’m sure nobody’s name will be mentioned at this time while we’re getting it together. [T]here are so many names coming at me at the moment. I joke about it and say, ‘Oh, I’m looking for the Three Stooges or Jerry Lewis.”
Nigel continued:
“But at the end of the day, I think what we’ve seriously got to talk about is just using people for a year├óΓé¼┬ªIf we do want these big stars, and we do, you cannot take them away from what they do. That’s depriving the public of a star for a start and stopping them from earning a lot of money.”
Not a bad idea, Nige!
Though he was “really upset” by Jennifer and Steven├óΓé¼Γäós departures, he respects their decisions and understands that they have other career goals in mind.
Hm…maybe Nigel should call up his good friend Simon Cowell for some advice on handling the cast change! Ha!
