Well, that’s an inneresting way to look at things.
After being photographed pretty clearly putting his hands on celebrity chef Nigella Lawson in an aggressive manner, Charles Saatchi is divorcing his wife.
While he seemed to have gotten physical with her which left her in tears after the incident AND caused her to move out, he is upset she didn’t defend him.
Um, yeah.
Now, he’s announced their plans to divorce. He said:
“I am sorry to announce that Nigella Lawson and I are getting divorced. I feel that I have clearly been a disappointment to Nigella during the last year or so, and I am disappointed that she was advised to make no public comment to explain that I abhor violence of any kind against women, and have never abused her physically in any way.”
We’re always sorry to see marriages end, but it sounds like that is the best thing to do in this one.
We sure hope Nigella is doing well and moving forward. And we certainly hope Charles doesn’t behave like that again.
