As we reported, according to a People report in May, on-again, off-again couple John Cena and Nikki Bella are “basically back together” after canceling their May 5th wedding.

As seen on the current season of Total Bellas, the two wrestlers called off their nuptials over a disagreement about kids. After the Blockers actor said he was willing to give Nikki a child, their big day was back on… until it was (potentially) called off again.
In a YouTube video posted on Sunday, Brie Bella‘s sister clears up her confusing relationship, and says she and Cena are “right now… just friends.”
The E! star explains:
“We are both working on each other, and trying to work on us… We talk every day. He is not only my best friend but he truly is one of the most amazing people I have ever met. He has patience with me and he has really taught me a lot over the past few months. I think one of those things is an inner strength I thought I had but I didn’t realize how strong I had it.”
The 34-year-old starlet also says the upcoming season finale of her current show will be “very tough,” revealing:
“I will just warn you all… It’s though very honest and raw and real and you will see why John and I are where we are at today.”
Sounds like a pain train comin’! Oof!
