Say it ain’t so?!
Janet Jackson has revealed that she doesn’t think she will be recording any more albums. Instead, she is thinking of concentrating on her acting career and maybe putting out some singles in between.
From what her ex-boyfriend, but still close friend and producer Jermaine Dupri says, her reasoning is that she feels LPs don’t have the same impact as they once did. He explains:
“Last time I heard she really didn’t want to do an album. She wanted to just do singles every once in a while. She’s looked at the marketplace -albums are not really doing what they usually do when you put all this budget out there. Janet is just trying to figure out her landscape.”
Alright, take some time to do your thing, but think of this – an album would certainly sell if ALL the songs were single worthy.
And if anyone could put that together….
