Bad idea!
Not only is Will & Grace alum Sean Hayes a Tony nominee for his performance in Promises, Promises this year, but he will be hosting the ceremony!
“I am absolutely thrilled to be hosting the Tony Awards. As the new guy on Broadway, it’s an honor to be included in the established alumni,” said Hayes.
That sounds sweet, but we highly doubt he’s gonna be able to pull in the ratings!
“We couldn├óΓé¼Γäót be more excited about Sean carrying on the tradition of excellent hosts, for the Tony Awards. Sean’s humor, charm and natural ability on the stage will make an already great show, even better,” said producer Glenn Weiss.
Riiiight.
The 64th Annual Tony Awards will be held June 13th at Radio City Music Hall.
Will U be watching?!
