As if flu season wasn’t enough├óΓé¼┬ª
The CDC announced that there is a new strain of norovirus running rampant across the globe├óΓé¼┬ª and it’s made its way to the good ol’ U.S. of A!
The new “GII 4 Sydney” strain of the virus has caused over 140 outbreaks in the U.S. since September!
This new strain isn’t particularly dangerous or anything, it’s just rapidly spreading and pretty uncomfortable.
A prominent virus researcher said:

“It can sweep through an environment very, very quickly. You can be feeling quite fine one minute and within several hours suffer continuous vomiting and diarrhea.”

So if you suddenly start throwing up out of nowhere, there’s a good chance you got hit with the Norovirus.
The worst of it only lasts about a day or two, but dehydration is a major concern.
If you’re not feeling well, drink plenty of fluids.
And if you can’t stop throwing up, maybe go see your doctor, rather than risk it!
Wash your hands and cover your mouth when you cough!
