This woman, known to her people as Sister Lauren M. Hanley, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. in Wantagh, NY, on Tuesday for driving drunk and hitting a tree!!!
A spiritual development director for her church, Sister Lauren told officers she’d been drinking at the church starting at about 3 p.m. and when she was pulled over, police found of bottle of opened liquor in the car.
Soon it was discovered that she had a blood-alcohol level of 0.18 and was promptly brought in on two misdemeanors charges, driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated, and one infraction for driving an uninspected vehicle.
She was later released “on her own recognizance.”
