Sad day for New Yorkers and devoted fans of Seinfeld and Friends.
The H&H Bagels store in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, which was featured on both shows mentioned above, is closing down after being open for business since 1972.
When asked why the store was closing, an H&H employee wouldn’t give a reason, but confirmed that the store would be closed for good starting Monday.
Fortunately, there’s a second H&H store in Manhattan’s West Side that will remain open, but we’re still sad to see that the Upper West Side location is closing because of the history behind it.
Hopefully all you NYC-dwelling folks will head over there one last time this weekend before they close. Enjoy a cinnamon-raisin one for us!
