We congratulated Michael Lohan when he said he helped Nadya Suleman into rehab.
But now a rep for the Octo-Mom is saying we should retract our congrats — because he’s been no help at all!
No, seriously. Papa Lohan played no role in Nadya’s decision to seek treatment.
The Octo-Mom’s rep, Gina Rodriguez, says:
“Michael Lohan’s only participation in this was that he gave me a number to a California rehab. [The TMZ story] also said that Michael and I arranged the treatment, which is not correct.
Nadya wanted to check herself into treatment and came to me for help and I got her in.”
It sounds like the celeb dad may have been exaggerating his role just a touch. What does Michael have to say in response? He says:
“I was contacted by my Gina Rodriguez to put together a TREATMENT PLAN and FACILITY for Nadya! Those things only!”
Well, it seems to us this is a case of “He said, She said”. Followed of course by “He yelled”. It is Michael Lohan after all!
