Officials Say Tori Spelling's Neighborhood Wasn't Affected By Wildfire -- Days After She Shares Evacuation Story With Fans

Tori spelling wildfire evacuation

Tori Spelling was one of the many celebs who took to social media this week to let fans know that she and her family “were evacuated” as the Woolsey fire ripped its way through Malibu.
But, unlike the many other evacuees, many of whom no longer have homes, it appears the 90210 alum didn’t actually need to leave her house.

A fire marshal from Fire Station 84 said that Spelling’s neighborhood had not been affected by the wildfire, telling Radar Online:

“I haven’t heard anything about Mulholland Drive [where Spelling resides] being affected. I can tell you that I was just sent from Miracle Mile and we’re here in Woodland Hills in kind of a standby mode. We have been dispatched to different place across the city. We have different pools of fire engines kind of in a standby mode.”

The official added that while no evacuations in the actress’ area have sparked just yet, the fire department is being extra cautious:

“We still have high winds and there is danger, so there could be spots and new fires that can break out. So we are sieging resources to get ready for that.”

No one is erring on the side of caution more than the mother-of-five. Mandatory evacuation or not, Spelling brought her big brood to the home of longtime friend Jennie Garth on Friday.
