Oliver Tree‘s girlfriend is mourning the sudden loss of the singer.
As we previously reported, Oliver tragically died at 32 in a helicopter crash in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Sunday. Five others also passed away in the accident, including Lucas Vignale, Gaspar Prim, a 23-year-old Argentine YouTube star Gaspi, Lucas Brito Chaves, and pilots Alexandre Souza and Charles Marsillac.

Days after the tragedy, Fiona Chernavskaya took to Instagram to pay tribute to Oliver. She wrote alongside several snaps of them over the years:
“To my best friend, we traveled to 43 countries, and all 7 continents together. The magic, inspiration and joy you brought to my life and others, will never be forgotten or replaced. You’d always tell me when we argued, if things don’t work out in this lifetime, you will find me in the next. i love you buggy”
She then reacted to the comments since his death — both positive and negative. Taking to Instagram Stories on Wednesday, she said:
“thank you for all the kind words. i appreciate every ounce of support at this time. there are so many who have been affected by his passing, please show them love too.”
Fiona went on to ask for the gossip about her relationship to stop amid her grief, especially anything involving other women Oliver may or may not have been seeing:
“and please have some respect for my privacy, we kept our relationship very intimate. what i really don’t need is to see gossip about other women that Oliver may have been seeing, we were monogamous. right now im mourning my partner and best friend, anything else is unimportant. please have some respect.”
Now is definitely not the time to unpack any of that. We’re sending love to Fiona and all the other families impacted by this terrible crash. R.I.P.
