We’ve gotten some pretty intense updates recently in Lori Loughlin‘s legal drama.
The bombshell accusations the FBI encouraged a witness to lie have reportedly invigorated her defense and renewed her hope as she fights the charges of fraud, bribery, and money laundering stemming from the infamous college admissions scandal, for which nearly three dozen parents were arrested last March.
Frankly looking at the evidence stacked against her and hubby Mossimo Giannulli, we still think the Full House star should be plenty worried. Especially given so many other parents pleaded guilty…

But you know who isn’t stressing about it? Lori’s daughters Olivia Jade and Bella Giannulli! A source close to Loughlin tells People the girls are basically back to business as usual:
“Olivia and Bella both have active lives. They hang out with friends, go shopping and go out for lunch and dinner. It’s pretty typical lives for girls in their circle.”
That’s a big change from a year ago, when the girls had to avoid school (which we heard they were already doing, actually), stopped posting on YouTube and Instagram, and even stayed indoors more. The insider agrees:
“Right after the college scandal broke, both girls were very low-key and avoided being photographed. But since Olivia is again active on social media, their lives have basically gone back to normal.”
Not only that, Olivia is still dating musician boyfriend Jackson Guthy and apparently doing better than ever. The source says:
“They don’t avoid the paparazzi any more. They don’t seem to mind being photographed.”
Just like it never happened. They got admitted to USC under false pretenses because of fraud allegedly committed by their parents, and when that was uncovered, they tossed it away like it never happened. Meanwhile the unnamed victims of this scandal, the students who never got in because the spaces which rightfully belonged to them were taken, had their lives diverted forever. Gotcha.

Meanwhile they may actually have to testify against their parents as the case goes to trial and are reportedly considered “star witnesses” for the prosecution — after all, they definitely know a lot about what exactly their parents did (considering you can’t pretend to be an athlete without knowing you’re doing it).
But all of that is apparently not a stress at the moment. The source says:
“They used to be very upset and worried about their parents. They are still concerned of course and it will probably get worse as they get closer to the trial date, but they still feel they need to go on with their lives. But for now, they are allowing themselves to enjoy life a little bit too.”
No offense to all the trust fund babies out there who are doing good in the world, but haven’t they allowed themselves to enjoy life basically their ENTIRE lives?
Just sayin’.
