Olivia Munn is proudly showing off her scars!
The 44-year-old actress stars in a new campaign for Skims, modeling several of the Kim Kardashian’s most popular products — including the viral nipple bra and shapewear. But what was super powerful about the shoot? Olivia recently underwent a double mastectomy during her breast cancer battle — and she had her scars on full display.

In several pictures, she is seen in nothing but black leggings with her chest bare. Wow. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Olivia said she decided to show off her mastectomy scars in the middle of the photo shoot because she was “done being insecure about” them, adding:
“Every mark life has left behind on my body is proof of how hard I fought. I hope other women who have been self-conscious about their scars see these photos and feel all the love I’m sending.”

In an interview with TODAY, Olivia revealed she initially went into the photoshoot with zero intention of featuring her scars in the pics and was supposed to just model the new leggings and shapewear. However, a makeup artist tried to cover them up and found it “really hard” to do. That’s when Olivia realized she didn’t want to cover up. She chose to embrace them instead. While the experience was “really scary” at first, she’s ultimately glad she went through with it:
“I feel like this is something I’ve been hiding for a long time now, and it just feels like I can breath a little bit more.”
