Olivia Newton-John’s Family SLAMS The ‘Sick Rumor’ That She’s Dying Amid Cancer Battle

Olivia Newton-John is NOT on her deathbed, despite recent reports claiming that her body was shutting down amid her cancer battle.
Days after RadarOnline alleged that the Grease star was “clinging to life” and spending her final days at her home near Santa Barbara, California with her family, the 70-year-old’s niece took to Instagram to put the “destressing rumor” to rest.

Captioning a photo of herself smiling alongside with her famous aunt, Tottie Goldsmith wrote:

“Just giving you the heads up that Livvy is in good health, so let’s leave that distressing rumor where it belongs.”

Phew! This is great news for the fans who grew alarmed last week after Radar’s report sparked a string of tabloids in ONJ’s native Australia to claim that the Physical singer had just “weeks” to live.
After clearing the air on social media, Goldsmith told Australia’s Seven Network that Newton-John gave her permission to speak about her health, adding:

“You can rest assured she is going nowhere and in really good health. A sick rumor.”

Good to hear, considering the star is battling cancer for the third time in 25 years. After first being diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, the Aussie actress underwent chemotherapy and a double mastectomy.
Doctors later found a malignant tumor in her shoulder in 2013, which she treated with conventional medication and natural remedies. It seemed like the cancer was in remission, but a third tumor was found at the base of her spine in 2017.
While speaking about her relapse in September, Newton-John revealed she received radiation to shrink the tumor before treating it “naturally” with a sugar-free diet and cannabis oil. The actress has remained optimistic that she’ll beat the disease.
