Olivia Wilde Talks Wedding Day Deets & Style Evolution With InStyle

Now why can’t she wear color like this in real life!?

Olivia Wilde is looking polished in a plaid Chanel jacket on the cover of InStyle‘s August issue.

But as much as we love the the chicness of her look, isn’t it a little hot to we wearing tweed in the dead of summer?

We’re breaking out in a sweat just looking at her!

Speaking of breaking into a sweat, as her big day quickly approaches, the future Mrs. Jason Sudeikis is opening up more and more about the wedding.

While Olivia will be wearing a custom Monique Lhuillier gown, her ‘maids will be decked out in their own custom dresses by the designer as well!

Olivia explained that she doesn’t subscribe to:

“that tortured tradition of forcing them to wear a ridiculous dress they├óΓé¼Γäóll never wear again. They├óΓé¼Γäóll have a real creation tailored for each of them. They can dye it black or purple and wear it forever.”

Best idea EVER!! What lucky bridesmaids to have such a fashionable and practical bestie.

Miz Wilde also spilled to the mag about her style evolution and just like her last name, it’s pretty wild. Olivia revealed:

“I used to dress like [bluesman] John Lee Hooker, with wide-collared polyester shirts and corduroy suits. Boys were my role models back then. I have the torso of a tall woman and the lower body of a short woman. Who knows what evolutionary purpose I├óΓé¼Γäóve been made for. People always told me I had nice eyes, so I accentuated that.”

Now we kinda wish we could see some throwbacks of those John Lee Hooker days!! We can’t even begin to imagine what that would look like, LOLz!
