The Olsen Twins are SO over the lawsuit filed against them from a former intern!
On Friday, it was reported that Mary-Kate and Ashley are seeking to have the legal case brought about by Shahista Lalani thrown out. Whoa!
According to DailyMail, the former tween superstars have shot down Miz Lalani’s claims that they took advantage of at least 40 interns by working them to the bone and paying them NOTHING.

In fact, they’ve since called the now designer a liar and have stated they in no way acted in a “reckless or malicious manner.”
In addition to throwing out the case, the Full House alums want the plaintiff to pay for their attorney fees. C’mon, it’s not like you guys don’t have the money. LOLz!
Looks like the famous siblings are hoping a judge will tell them “you’ve got it dude” (sorry we had to).
During her time at the Olsens’ line The Row, Shahista explained she was assigned menial tasks such as inputing data into spreadsheets, running errands, sewing and cutting patterns, etc. So… basically a normal internship?
Allegedly, none of the apprentices were paid nor did they receive academic credit for their time at the fashion house — which is required by law. Well that’s not good.
The complaint says she worked nearly 50 hours a week and ended up in the hospital for dehydration during her five month stint with the couture line back in 2012. Yikes!
Well this is turning into quite the he said/she said case!
It’ll be inneresting to see if MK and Ash will get their way and not have to go to court. Whose side are U on?!
