Olympic Discus Athlete Gets Thrown Out Of The Olympics For 10 Years For Doping!

When is the doping madness going to stop???
It’s been enough that we’ve had to deal with Lance Armstrong‘s doping scandal, but now Olympic discus silver medalist, Darya Pishchalnikova has been banned from the Olympics for 10 years, and is also set to get her medal taken away.
Last year, Pishchalnikova received a silver medal at the London Olympics, but after she tested positive for the illegal drug Oxandrilone, she won’t be able to compete for a whole decade.
Federation president, Valentin Balakhnichev said:

“It’s a sad situation. It’s horrible when such things happen to our athletes. I can support an athlete but when all proves her guilty there is nothing to challenge. In this situation, it’s practically a criminal violation and we cannot appeal to change the situation.”

Now, China competitor Li Yanfeng is getting ready to move up to silver and Cuba’s Yarelys Barrios is going to get bronze.
This is such a sad situation, but hey, it you’re doping, you might as well be prepared to get kicked the heck out!
