Olympian Kerri Strug Brings Home The Gold Baby!

Aww, congratulations to gold medalist Kerri Strug!
The olympic gymnast – who vaulted to perfection after suffering an ankle injury during the 1996 games – recently welcomed son Tyler William Fisher into the world.
The 7 lbs. and 1 oz tiny human is Kerri and husband Robert Fisher III’s first child.
The venerated athlete recently expressed:

“Everyone tells you, ├óΓé¼╦£When you have a child, you’ll understand,’ It’s kind of like my gymnastics training when people said, ├óΓé¼╦£Dreams do come true, anything’s possible.’ You hear these things and you really want to believe them, but you don’t quite get it until you go through it├óΓé¼┬ªAnd it’s the same with Tyler. I understand it now, the immediate love.”

OH, what poignant words! Our heart swells!
AND Kerri will soon be a working Mom, representing team USA in this year’s London Olympics – not as competitor, but as ambassador for Hilton Honors Support the Dream.
Felicitations!
