Swimmer Ryan Lochte go to doggie is his doberman Carter, but you’ll never guess the inspiration for Carter’s name.
The gold medal winner loves rap music and his pooch is named after Dwayne Carter Jr. or Lil’ Wayne!
Christine Loukas:
Diver Loukas enjoys her cardio (obvis!) and her black Lab Kona. While she’s not as great a diver as her mama, Kona is a fantastic running partner. Says Christine:
“She is a much better runner than me, so she helps pull me along when I start to get tired! She├óΓé¼Γäós a great training partner.”
Michael Phelps:
One of the most decorated athletes in sports history, Michael Phelps found his Catahoula mix, Stella, by chance!
After both appeard on The Today Show, they took a walk together and it was love at first sight!
Venus Williams:
While she’s whacking yellow balls everywhere, Venus is cool as a cucumber around her Havanese, Harold or “Harry.”
Says Venus:
