According to multiple sources via The Daily Beast, Omarosa Manigault-Newman secretly recorded conversations with Donald Trump on her cell phone during her tenure at the White House.

Reportedly, the former Apprentice contestant “leveraged” these documents while shopping her upcoming tell-all Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House, out August 14.
Insiders — who refer to the recordings as “the Omarosa tapes” — say they consist of “everyday chatter.”
In December 2017, the White House announced her resignation as Assistant to the President, and Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison.
