There’s nothing like the sass monster himself, Louis Tomlinson!
So, you know One Direction‘s smash hit Live While We├óΓé¼Γäóre Young, right?
Well, Chelsea High School’s Show Choir Company C in Michigan was primed to cover the catchy pop song until…. a couple of parents did a lil’ research themselves, and they were NOT happy with the lyrics in the song!
For non-Directioners and haters of super catchy pop music who aren’t familiar with the song, part of the chorus goes like this:
“Let’s go crazy, crazy, crazy til we see the sun. I know we’ve only met but let’s pretend it’s love. And never, never, never stop for anyone. Tonight let’s get some. And live while we’re young.”
The part of “get some” is what irked one of the high school kids’ parents. Well, the school went on with the show as planned, although four students did sit out, and when word got back to ol’ Tommo, he went on the Twitter attack against parents Michael and Mary Stone, who did the most complaining over the song’s lyrics!
He put them on blast in the sassiest way possible, tweeting:
Dear Mr and Mrs Stone, I'm deeply saddened by your complaint to Chelsea High School regarding our lyrics…

I hope the two of you 'get some' very soon 🙂 #cryingparents

Hey, it’s one thing to keep your kids from participating in the event, that’s a parents’ right, but to try and stop the whole school from performing a song because the words “get some” offend you?
We’re pretty sure we’ve sang songs in chorus that were WAY more sexually suggestive than that!
Totally harmless!
Sure, Louis could have handled it better, but if it weren’t for his snappy comebacks, he just wouldn’t be the Louis we all loved, now would he??
