That sucks that he wasn’t able to join his bros at the NRJ Music Awards!
Especially since One Direction ended up winning the International Duo/Group of the Year award again!!!
Louis Tomlinson recently revealed that he wouldn’t be joining 1D at the award show hosted in Cannes, France, but this information came after he and Zayn Malik were caught on camera smoking cigarettes inside the BBC Music Awards!
We guess these two stars weren’t aware the cameras were rolling as they puffed away on the cancer sticks – gross – as they were prepped backstage. And we’re pretty sure smoking inside is NOT cool!
Well, really it’s never cool to smoke cigs but especially inside!
However, Zayn was still able to make the trip to France with his band members Niall, Liam, and Harry Styles, so we’re guessing Louis IS actually not going to the show for the reason that he mentioned online.
Our poor baby isn’t feeling well!!!
Here’s what Louis wrote on Twitter:
“Been sick all night. Still really unwell. Absolutely gutted!!. So sorry to let our fans down at NRJ. 🙁 sorry 🙁 hope the lads smash it !!”
And he also then wrote after his mates wrote him get well messages:
“Thanks for all the lovely messages !! I’ve felt sh*t all day but all the get well soon stuff is cool 🙂 I just gotta get right for the final”

We sincerely hope Louis Tomlinson is OK, and he gets better really soon!!!
Nonetheless it was apparent that news of Tomlinson’s absence was not going well with some of his fans!

We feel your pain Twitter user @Suienstein! But hopefully Louis is getting all of the rest and fluids that will make him his old self again!
