One Direction may be back in the studio working on their second album, but one member of the boy band has taken a leave of absence!

Looks like 1D’s blond haired crooner (below), Niall Horan, lost his voice and had to sit Thursday’s recording sesh out!
Poor lad!
Niall took to his Twitter to vent, writing:
“Waking up with no voice! Nooo… Sick day today! Now off to sleep.”
That├óΓé¼Γäós no fun! Good thing it seems to only be temporary and not anything like vocal cord polyps — or so we HOPE not!
Sounds like Niall was feeling a wee bit better today, after tweeting that he made his return to the studio to record guitar sessions…though, we do hope he├óΓé¼Γäós resting his voice!
