We guess some are getting in the Christmas spirit!
Even though we’re still a little less than a month away from the festivities!
One Direction has put a lot of smiles on a lot of children’s faces, but we bet these smiles will stick with our favorite musical boys for a long time!
The boy band have sent a Christmas toy box worth thousands to children at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, Scotland. Part of the toy box includes VIP tickets to see One Direction live before meeting the band in person afterwards!
It all came together after Zayn Malik’s mom Tricia was contacted by Charlie Kean who runs the Children├óΓé¼Γäós Fund charity.
Here’s what Charlie said:
“We were sent 36 VIP tickets so that kids from the ward could get to meet the band this year. And Zayn’s mum sends us stuff all the time and will text to ask about children she’s met. The lads are all out of this world. They are really normal, down to Earth and some of the nicest boys in the world. The kids are over the moon. This is the biggest boyband in the world and they are idols to a lot of the children.”
However there is one direction that 1D was none too fond of. And it had to do with Charlie’s tie!
Here’s what he said:
“In the photo they’re taking the mick out of my tie. It’s got smiley faces on it — something I wear to cheer up the children.”
Hahaha aww!
We’re sure the boys were just teasing him! We love ties AND smiley faces! How could one go wrong with both?
Good job, 1D!!!
You’ve really helped spread the Christmas cheer this year!!!
