One Direction has been given the prestigious honor of headlining Madison Square Garden on December 3!!!
Get ready…tickets go on sale THIS Friday at 5pm ET and you better hurry — 1D’s May/June 2012 U.S. tour sold out within MINUTES!
Group member Niall Horan shares the band’s excitement, saying:
“We are so happy to be playing Madison Square Garden. To be headlining our OWN show in a venue that has played host to countless legendary acts that we have grown up listening to and adore is obviously a dream come true for us all. We can’t wait to play for our fans on December 3rd.”
The group, brought together by Simon Cowell on The X Factor UK, released their debut album Up All Night in the U.S. just last month and it has impressively entered the charts at #1 in 13 countries!!!
The boys will also be appearing on Nickelodeon’s iCarly this Saturday and later that night, will be featured as the musical act on SNL as well!
