Is there really nothing going on between British/Irish boyband rivals One Direction and The Wanted?!
Well, Liam Payne seemed to think so, and there have been negative comments exchanged bewteen both cheeky parties in the past…
But according to The Wanted’s Jay McGuiness, there isn’t much truth to the so called “feud” and any issued the two bands DO have, they will eventually get solved in a congenial manner.
McGuiness recently shared:
“We’re going to see them in New York. We’re doing a gig with them and I know they’ve had a bit of a field day recently talking a little bit of tongue-in-cheek smack talk so when we see each other in New York we’ll see if there’s actually any issues or not.
We don’t see them enough for there to actually be a personal vendetta or anything but I think in the chart you’re always going to go up against people that are similar to you.”
Well thank the 5-piece lad band gods for that!
Although we do love ourselves a slice of celebrity beef, even if it’s a tad dry, and we can’t wait to see if a musical smack down actually does occur between 1D and The Wanted when they unite in NYC!
