Well this is quite an odd pairing!
Reportedly Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese is a pretty big One Direction fan, so much so that he’s interested in directing the sequel to their first film, This Is Us.
The Wolf Of One Direction, perhaps? LOLz!
Apparently, Marty became a fan of Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Niall Horan through his daughter, Francesca, when she gave him a 1D album as a gift!
As for directing the sequel?
Well, a source told the Confidenti@l column of the New York Daily News newspaper:

”Martin is very passionate and enthused about the music of One Direction.”

LOLz!! Who’d have thought that he’d be a huge supporter of the 1D boys!
While an unusual pairing, surely, why wouldn’t he be a fan? They’re AH-MAZINGLY talented, just like him!
We’re totes looking forward to seeing whether this will or won’t happen!
