WHOOOOAA!! Talk about an impossible feat!
One Direction‘s Zayn Malik must REALLY love his fianc├â┬⌐, Little Mix‘s Perrie Edwards, because he’s apparently trying to get Journey for a one off performance of her favorite song Don’t Stop Believin’ at their wedding.
However, a performance with the entire band, including lead singer Steve Perry, hasn’t happened in 17 years! Steve is notoriously AGAINST performing with the band and has turned down MANY offers for a reunion show throughout the years!
But that’s not stopping Zayn! He’s apparently already reached out to guitarist, Neal Schon, about playing and it seems like he could be down for the nuptials.
Sources said:
“Zayn is hopeful Journey will be there in some guise. Neal has made it clear through his channels he is up for it. He has his touring band who can play. But he knows Steve was the voice of that hit record, and no one on earth really sounds like him. If Steve and Neal were to reunite, it would be a massive affair and a payday. It├óΓé¼Γäós a feat but Zayn├óΓé¼Γäós reach across the music industry is huge.”
Hmmmm we’re not so sure this reunion is likely to happen…Steve has been turning down offers for 17 years, why would he say yes to Zayn?
Well, we guess if he makes the offer with enough zero’s at the end there is a chance, but we think Perrie shouldn’t hold her breath for the entire band on their big day.
However, if anyone could pull this off, it’s a member of 1D, so we’ll just have to wait and see!!
