Ripped cornea = BAD!
Publicity for your new show = GOOD!
Joey Lawrence tore his cornea after being hit in the eye with a script while rehearsing for his new ABC Family show Melissa & Joey.
He Tweeted:
“Hey my tweet peeps. Sorry for being AWOL. I got hit in the eye yesterday mrng by accident in the set and it ripped my cornea. Trying to heal so I can do the show tmrw and be ok! Love you all and I’ll be in touch very soon xoxo.”
He was taken to the hospital right away and is expected to be back at work tonight.
