On today’s episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show, the Queen of Daytime TV announced the end of her reign.
Oprah explained the decision came “after much prayer and careful thought,” but ultimately, it was the best choice for her. Holding back tears, she thanked her viewers who have vigilantly watched her show for over 20 years. She recalled how nervous she was when she started back in 1986 but revealed that she never believed it would lead down a “yellow brick road of blessings.”
