Say it isn’t sO!
Oprah could be making her official debut on the Great White Way, like ASAP!
Which is TOO EXCITING!
Miz Winfrey is in talks to join the potential revival cast of Marsha Norman‘s super sad 1983 Pulitzer Prize-winning play ‘night, Mother alongside Tony-winning goddess Audra McDonald.
The two-character dramalicious stage show is about a mother (Oprah) and her final attempt to prevent her daughter (Audra) from committing suicide…
Which is some pretty heavy material for the 60-year-old media mogul!
Lead producer Scott Sanders revealed that this is something O has always wanted to do:
“Oprah has had a longstanding desire to act on Broadway. She understands how unique and challenging performing live on stage will be as an actress.”
Oprah has majorly invested in Bway shows before—but this would be her first time acting on stage!
Fingers crossed these rumors are true, because we would love to see her name in shiny lights!
