Ralph Lauren & Oprah Winfrey Being Sued By Former Harpo Employee

Round up the high-power attorneys!
Ralph Lauren and Oprah Winfrey are being sued by a former Harpo sound technician.
The technician alleges that he was injured by the fashion mogul during an Oprah interview back in 2011, which took place on Lauren’s Colorado ranch.
According to the victim, while he was securing a microphone onto the back bumper of Ralph Lauren’s vintage 1948 Jeep, the designer, who was at the wheel, shifted into reverse and hit him.
As a result, the man suffered injuries to his head, body and limbs, as well as the muscles, tissues, nerves and blood vessels in his head.
He is now suing both Ralph Lauren and Harpo Productions, and wants more than $50,000 in damages.
As far as lawsuits go, $50,000 isn’t a whole lot. At least he’s not suing for $50 million!
Also, maybe Ralph should take some driving lessons to brush up on the whole not-reversing-while-someone-is-behind-you thing.
