OITNB Cancelled?! Don't Have A Panic Attack Dandelions, It Isn't True At All!

Whoever started this rumor needs to be sent to SHU! A nasty little rumor about the cancellation of Orange Is The New Black made its way around the internet this past weekend and everyone freaked out! Satirical website, Empire News claimed that the CEO of Netflix, Reed Hastings released a press release stating:

“We regret to inform Netflix members that Orange is the New Black has been permanently cancelled. Also, starting September 1st, 2014, past episodes will no longer be available for streaming on Netflix.”

Of course, the sarcasm was misinterpreted, causing one person who has yet to be pointed out for their foolish mistake, to claim that OITNB was really cancelled! Then, that led to a sort of domino effect and everyone started to publicly mourn their favorite Netflix show on Twitter! Thankfully, the online streaming site caught this false rumor and cleared everything up! Netflix and the official Twitter for Orange is the New Black tweeted:
