The Oregon Zoo in Portland has a whole bunch of adorable animals, but this is a special moment!
The video (above) shows sometime people don’t get to see very often: lion cubs and their FIRST interaction with their proud poppa (named Zawadi Mungu)!
We think the best thing about it is that they’re not intimidated at all, and they go straight to annoying him!
Here’s what the keeper said:
“The cubs rushed him as soon as they saw him. We were confident that Zawadi would be tolerant of his cubs right away …. At first he was surprised but as time passed he grew more patient. A few days later, he was grooming them.”
