Oscars 2023: Rihanna, Lady GaGa, & All The Other Musical Performances!

The Oscars brought the star power AND the spectacle when it came to the Best Original Song performances!

Rihanna followed up her Super Bowl Halftime Show with a very different kind of performance for the elegiac Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. And Lady GaGa brought it again (sans Bradley Cooper this time) with her Top Gun: Maverick anthem Hold My Hand. And Sofia Carson joins 14-time (!!!) nominee Diane Warren for Applause from Tell It Like A Woman.

Then Stephanie Hsu, the breakout star of Everything Everywhere All At Once, teamed with Talking Heads singer David Byrne and Son Lux for the appropriately strange yet beautiful This Is A Life. And (spoiler alert) the winner, Naatu Naatu from RRR, was performed by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava and a stage full of AMAZING dancers!
