The iPhone is weeping this morning as it’s bigger, badder cousin, the iPad has surpassed it BIG TIME!
This morning Apple Inc. announced that in the month’s time since it’s release, the iPad has already sold over 1 million units. In comparison, the tablet sold twice as fast as the iPhone did when it was first released.
Burn!
Techies at Apple revealed that the milestone was reached due to the introduction of the 3G model of the iPad on Friday. This new model, which can access AT&T’s network, helped the iPad reach it’s awesome achievement.
Don’t worry, iPhone. In about five years, there will be something else to surpass the iPad. That is just how Apple rolls!
