Paging Dr. Dolly

As if Dolly Parton wasn’t already fabulous, she can now add a PHD to her list of accomplishments.

Our favorite country diva received her honory degree in humane and musical letters from University of Tennessee in Knoxville. The audience of 1,069 new graduates from the College of Arts and Sciences gave Parton a rightly deserved standing ovation.

Dolly was thrilled and even made a quip or two in her acceptance speech:

“So when people say something about ‘Double-D,’ they will be thinking of something entirely different.”

Loves her.
