Oh NO! Such sad truth!
We were VERY surprised to hear everyone’s favorite ’90s lifeguard drama Baywatch would be getting the big screen treatment and now it seems like our hopes and dreams have been crushed!
Why? Because it’s totally NOT happening!
A movie titled The B-Team is in the works and apparently David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson are not attached to the project.
Though, they may be in the future! Fingers crossed!
The film itself, due to not legally being associated with the series, is an action comedy where some of the former stars of Baywatch play themselves in the film where they’re not actually actors but weren’t actually actors but doubled as crime fighting CIA agents!
The director of the film, Chris Cottom says:
“There are mentions of rehab and boob jobs and ages and The B-Team is a joke about B-List actors ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ it├óΓé¼Γäós quite refreshing.”
As far as the plot goes, details are scarce but we do know that John Cleese will be playing the bad guy in the film!
Sounds like The B-Team is going to be a HIGHlarious spoof that in no way has to do with Baywatch!
