This is just so disgustingly horrible we can barely handle it. We are FLOORED that she had to endure these things as a child.
While Pamela Anderson was giving a speech at the launch of her new advocacy group for animal rights, The Pamela Anderson Foundation, she made a shocking revelation:
She had a long history of sexual abuse as a child.
Pam said:
“I did not have an easy childhood. Despite loving parents, I was molested from age six by a female babysitter.”
Six??! That poor little girl!
Things didn’t get any better when she turned 12 and simply going to hang out at a friend’s house turned into rape.
She continued:
“I went to a friend’s boyfriend’s house and his older brother decided to teach me backgammon, which led into a back massage, which led into rape. He was 25 years old and I was 12.”
We have no words.
Years later, after one of her terrible boyfriends “decided it would be funny to gang-rape me with six friends” according to Pamela, she “wanted off this earth.”
The only thing that saved her?
Her love of animals. She said:
“My affinity with animals saved me, they came to me naturally. The trees spoke to me. I wasn’t sure why I was alive ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ a burning question, a quest. My loyalty remained with the animal kingdom. I vowed to protect them and only them. I prayed to the whales with my feet in the ocean, my only real friends until I had children.”
Wow, we’re so glad she was able to cling onto her love of the animal kingdom to help her cope.
We can’t believe she’s been through so much hardship, dealing with some of the absolute worst things life can throw at you, and she’s still come out on top!
Way to overcome and keep pushing through with life, Pamela! You’ve done so many wonderful things! We love you!
