Parents Buying LICKED Lollipops To Build Children's Chickenpox Immunity

Eww! This is just INSANELY disgusting!
Instead of trusting vaccines to prevent their children from contracting diseases like Chickenpox and the Measles, some parents are purchasing lollipops online which were licked by other infected kids.
Why? To keep their offspring safe, of course!
A Facebook group called “Find a Pox Party in Your Area” is allowing parents to meet other parents with sick kids so they can swap spit — literally!
One posting from a Wendy Werkit of Nashville, Tenessee offered other group members a “fresh batch of pox in Nashville shipping of suckers, spit and Q-tips available tomorrow 50 dollars via PayPal.”
Gross!
The woman explained herself to a local news broadcast, saying:

“They can’t get (chickenpox) the normal way anymore of just naturally catching and just naturally getting the immunity for life.”

So let’s just get this straight. These parents won’t trust a doctor recommended vaccine, but they’ll trust a stranger’s spit!?
Not only does that lack any lick of sense, but it’s a little disturbing that parents would be open to risking their child’s health!
Pediatric specialists agree that it is theoretically possible, but highly unlikely that these used lollipops would actually succeed in spreading the infection. However, that doesn’t mean this practice can’t spread a more serious virus like hepatitis!
Luckily, somebody is taking action!
It turns out that shipping any diseases or viruses over state lines is ILLEGAL. Jerry Martin, U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee, aims on enforcing the law by prosecuting anybody taking part in this kind of activity, explaining:

“If you are engaged in this type of behavior, you’re not only potentially exposing innocent people to dangerous viruses and illnesses and diseases, you’re also exposing yourself potentially to federal criminal prosecution.”

PLEASE consult a doctor, not a stranger on Facebook, to prevent chickenpox from harming your children!
