After six long and joyous months, Paris Hilton and Afrojack have decided to call it quits!
Sources are suggesting that the DJ actually pulled the plug on the relationship because things were getting a little too serious a little too fast. A friend of the couple explains:
“Afrojack had moved into Paris’ Beverly Hills mansion earlier this year, and the two got very serious, very fast. Paris was really into him and admires the work he has done. Afrojack did a lot of the work on Paris’ new album which will be released later this year. He took a lot of criticism for working with her, but he truly does believe that she has talent. Paris was smitten with him, but Afrojack just wanted to have fun and not be exclusive with anyone. He is on the road practically every day performing in clubs all over the world, and he just isn’t ready to settle down, whereas Paris is.”
At least they stayed together long enough to finish her second album, which might actually be pretty good if her single Louder is any indication.
So sorry to hear the news, gurl! Take a night out on the town with your friends and just try to move on as best you can.
UPDATE: Apparently that “friend of the couple” wasn’t a very good friend because we just got a tip from a different source (who is VERY close to Paris and Afrojack) that insists this story is NOT true.
Sorry for the false alarm, folks! These two lovebirds are still happily chirping in each other’s nests.
