Paris Jackson is reportedly doing much better as she recovers from a suicide attempt, and there’s still some speculation as to why she decided to try and end her life. However, one theory is that there was a major lack of discipline in her household.
Her uncle, Jermaine Jackson recently spoke out about the tragic events involving his niece, and he feels the whole thing was a major overreaction to her being told she couldn’t go to a Marilyn Manson concert, which allegedly sparked a huge fight that same night.
He says the whole thing probably could have been avoided if Paris had a little more respect for the rules:
“She has to learn there are certain guidelines when you grow up being a teenager. There are rules.”
Jermaine also feels that a lack of discipline could have led to her reaction:
“Things could have been enforced a little stronger.”
We’re not exactly sure if this is the best time to be pointing the finger of blame considering his niece is recovering from a VERY traumatic experience.
There’s a lot more to the equation than a teenager simply throwing a fit over a concert, as Paris is still grieving the death of her father, Michael Jackson.
Right now, it’s much more important for Jermaine to show support for her and the rest of his family instead of criticizing them for their lack of discipline.
