Paris Jackson is in the hospital right now after having been rushed for care early this morning because of a confirmed attempted suicide. It’s unclear how drastic the attempt was, but at this point it doesn’t matter — we just hope she’d be getting the treatment she needs!
As far as why this has happened, we’re sure a lot of you are thinking about any number of reasons from her less-than-normal life that could’ve sent her down this path, but most concretely we’re hearing that a lot of the depression stems from the untimely death of her father (which is totally understandable).
Last night, though, the immediate problems began because of an alleged argument stemming from not being allowed to go to a Marilyn Manson concert.
Luckily, we hear that doing okay right now. Here’s what her grandmother Katherine Jackson‘s, attorney had to say:
“Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention. Being a sensitive 15 year old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you.”
This troubling turn of events really gets to us — she’s such a beautiful and smart girl! Hopefully there will be new resources for her to be able to cope now that all of this has come to light!
