For Sir Patrick Stewart‘s whole life, he thought he was circumcised. Yes, we’re talking about this.
It wasn’t until an intimate conversation with his wife (he didn’t offer a timeline, so we’re assuming it’s his current and third bride Sunny Ozell), that the 76-year-old realized that he didn’t actually undergo the procedure as a baby like his mom said he had.

The British star told the story of how it all went down on The Graham Norton Show:
“One night with my wife, as you do, we were talking about stuff and I mentioned my circumcision and she said, ‘You’re not circumcised.’ I said, ‘What do you mean? That’s ridiculous, I should know. All my life my mother has told me it was fashionable at the time’.”
After not believing his wife’s expert opinion, he asked a doctor for confirmation that he was, indeed, uncircumcised:
“I happened to be seeing my doctor the next day for a check-up so while he was down there I said, ‘By the way, my wife and I have had a little disagreement, I am circumcised, aren’t I?’ He took a closer look and said, ‘Not! I am Jewish, and definitely know the difference!'”
Welp! Now you know that!!!
It didn’t take long before the Star Trek actor realized he just announced that very personal detail to the entire world:
“Oh no, my grandchildren will be watching this!”
