And the inspired casting just keeps on coming!
We reported last week that Hugh Jackman was in negotiations to star in director Tom Hooper‘s upcoming musical adaptation of Les Mis├â┬⌐rables as protagonist Jean Valjean, and now, we’ve gotten word that Paul Bettany may be taking on the role of the film’s villain, Inspector Javert!
Sources close to production say that no deal is in place, but the actor has read for the role and even performed a few songs as part of his audition!
Nice! We know he’s a MORE than capable actor, and we imagine if he can hold a tune, then he’ll be a shoe-in!
This is going to be AH-MAZING! We cannot wait to hear who will be snagged for the rest of the roles!
What do U think?? Are U looking forward to a new Les Miz movie??
