Definitely one of the best choices he could have made.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone mag, SirPaul McCartney admits that when his ex-wife Heather Mills gave birth to their daughter Beatrice, now 8 years old, he made the decision to stop smoking pot.
While married to Heather, she revealed that he smoked pot as often as most people drink cups of tea.
But that all changed…
The Beatle explains:
“I did a lot, and it was enough. I smoked my share. When you├óΓé¼Γäóre bringing up a youngster, your sense of responsibility does kick in, if you├óΓé¼Γäóre lucky, at some point. Enough├óΓé¼Γäós enough ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ you just don├óΓé¼Γäót seem to think it├óΓé¼Γäós necessary.”
Paul admitted that Bob Dylan was the one to introduce him to marijuana back in the day. It was a gateway drug for him, compared to other substances like LSD and cocaine.
So, why didn’t he think to stop smoking when he had his four other children?
Hmm, interesting.
We’re glad he’s made the step to stop now, though.
