Apparently Paul McCartney forgot what band he used to be in — it was the Beatles not the Beach Boys, Paul!
The former Beatles frontman is currently working on a surf movie with Jack McCoy, an Australian who taught Iggy Pop how to surf and uses underwater jet ski filming techniques to create spectacular ocean visuals.
McCoy spoke about the project at Santa Barbara International Film Fetival:
“Paul happened to have seen [my] film and liked it. The next thing I know I’m flying to London from Sydney to have a two-hour lunch with him. He couldn’t have been nicer. We’re now in the negotiating stages on another possible collaboration with my surfing footage and Paul’s music.”
This film idea actually sounds really awesome! We can’t wait to see it come together!
