For those of you wondering after we announced that Sir Paul McCartney was to wed his girlfriend Nancy Shevell, the couple is planning to be married in London!
Like we said before, however, the wedding is being planned as a small ceremony. And after how his last marriage ended (after 4 years with her taking 20+ million from him), we can’t say we blame him for wanting to keep it modest!
Mandrake hears that the former Beatle is to marry the American divorcée in a quiet ceremony in London with only close members of his family present. The couple will then fly to New York, where they will hold a party for friends and members of Shevell’s family.
“Paul loves Nancy very much, but does not want a big wedding,” says a friend of the 69-year-old musician.
He married his second wife, Heather Mills, 43, in an expensive ceremony in the grounds of Castle Leslie in Ireland in 2002. Three hundred guests, including the Beatles’ drummer Ringo Starr, attended the wedding, which involved thousands of pounds’ worth of flowers, and a five-minute firework display.
