We’re not sure how we feel about this, and we’re definitely unsure if this will actually happen.
According to a source, Paul Walker‘s brother Cody has been asked to step in for Paul’s final scenes of Fast & Furious 7 that were left unfilmed following his tragic death last month:
“Producers had a string of meetings right after Paul├óΓé¼Γäós death. They soon realized they needed someone who looked like Paul to finish the movie and that├óΓé¼Γäós when they approached his nearly identical brother Cody. If it├óΓé¼Γäós a shot they need Paul├óΓé¼Γäós face in close up they can CGI it later on. If Cody agrees it├óΓé¼Γäós because he wants to honor his brother├óΓé¼Γäós memory.├óΓé¼┬¥
Adding CGI to the face of Paul’s brother? This solution seems a little far fetched, and greatly in bad taste.
We remain pretty skeptical about this new development especially since Paul’s ashes were just laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park this past Saturday.
We’ll see if this approach to the newest Fast movie is actually used, but for now we hope all of Paul’s immediate relatives have all the time they need to grieve.
