If you’ve been paying attention over the last decade to the boob tube, you know most reality television is edited to look as “dramatic” as possible.
Sometimes facial expressions from other scenarios will be used for certain scenes to add shock value, sometimes character pauses are prolonged to mirror those of daytime soap operas, etc..
But those involved within the reality AREN’T SUPPOSED TO SAY IT!!!
But that’s exactly what Paula Abdul did during a heated moment with Simon Cowell at the X Factor premiere.
Simon said Paula and Nicole Scherzinger usually voted against any attractive woman, to which Paula defensively replied, “not true!”
Cowell then retorted with, “look at the tape,” and without missing a beat, Paula went, “but WHO edits the tapes???”
Uh-oh! Pauullllaaa….. That’s a burn AND a boo-boo all at the same time!
